PIANO & VIOLIN LESSONS

Lessons at Hovland change lives. With weekly 30-minute lessons and a minimum of two days of playing at home, your student can grow up musical with skills to last a lifetime. As PIANO and VIOLIN specialists, no other music school can compete with the quality and value Hovland provides. Monthly tuition is $145 with an annual $30 membership fee which includes all of the following:

Piano is the instrument everyone should learn to play. Not only is it very accessible and visual, but it can play the notes of every other instrument. The piano is a symphony at your fingertips.

Piano students progress through The Conservatory Course with weekly lessons. All students prepare for performances with multiple formal and informal opportunities throughout the year.

Students will want an instrument at home and can start on an electronic keyboard. An acoustic piano or a quality digital piano is recommended by Level 2.

The violin is a beautiful instrument that is best learned from a young age. Playing the violin fosters discipline and patience, as mastering the instrument requires time and perseverance. The violin is also a social instrument where being part of an orchestra or ensemble builds teamwork and fosters belonging.

Violin students progress through The Conservatory Course with weekly lessons. All students prepare for performances with multiple formal and informal opportunities throughout the year.

Students can start without an instrument but will need one at home within the first month. Violins can be rented or purchased through us or any violin shop.
